As an education equity and liberation coach and consultant, I am often asked by educators what books have served as tools in my anti-racist work. While I can list tons of literature, I’m sharing the top 12 books that have impacted me the most since starting the decolonization of my work and lifestyle over 15 years ago. I’ve also included a new anti-racist book I need you all to check out!
Each month, I publish a decolonized, culturally relevant recommended book list exclusively for my Patreon supporters. The book lists are typically for grades K-12, but this month I decided to share literature specifically for my fellow anti-racist educators.
